The mister joined me for a final maternity shoot, we met up with the Billings at a small festival downtown and laughed our asses off running around trying to get a decent shot. I’m officially 40 weeks. Full term. Fully cooked. All done. And as I type this, 4 days past due. What’s a due date anyway? A date based on a perfect 28 day cycle. Pfff, come on. My money has been on tomorrow, accurate according to my actual cycle, Tuesdays are a popular labor day, and it’s a full moon, but my midwife is convinced I’ll be back in the office next week. Thanks lady. As my Dad hilariously put it, “it’s not her decision.” So for now I am going to try and get some more house stuff done while chugging raspberry tea and eating pineapple.
